Pet Adoption Listings

Source of Pet Listings

All pet descriptions, photographs, medical information, and related data displayed on our platform originate from local animal shelters or authorized rescue organizations who have granted permission to share their available animals for adoption.

Shelter Responsibility: Each participating shelter or rescue organization is solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the information they provide about their animals.

Our Role and Limitations

Access Creativity Labs and Warwick Local serve only as an informational platform to display pet listings. We do not:

• Own, house, or have custody of any animals listed on our platform
• Verify the accuracy of pet descriptions, health status, or temperament information
• Control the availability of animals (listings may not reflect real-time availability)
• Participate in the adoption process, application review, or placement decisions
• Handle adoption fees, contracts, or any financial transactions
• Conduct home visits, background checks, or adopter screening

The Adoption Process

Direct Communication Required: When you express interest in a pet listed on our platform, you will be redirected to the relevant shelter or rescue organization's website or contact information. All inquiries, applications, and adoption arrangements must be made directly with that organization.

We Are Not Involved: Warwick Local does not facilitate, mediate, or participate in any aspect of the adoption process. Each shelter or rescue organization maintains its own adoption policies, requirements, fees, and procedures.

Listing Management

Participating shelters and their authorized representatives have the ability to:

• Create, edit, update, or remove their pet listings at any time
• Control what information is published about their animals
• Determine which animals are featured on our platform
• Update availability status when animals are adopted or no longer available

Information Updates: While we encourage shelters to keep their listings current, there may be delays between when an animal is adopted and when the listing is removed from our platform.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

No Liability for Shelter Data: We are not responsible for any inaccuracies, errors, omissions, or outdated information in pet listings. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Incorrect descriptions of an animal's breed, age, size, or temperament
• Inaccurate or incomplete medical history or health information
• Animals listed as available who have already been adopted
• Delays in removing listings for animals no longer available
• Changes in adoption fees, policies, or requirements
• Technical issues affecting the display of pet information or photographs

No Liability for Adoption Outcomes: Access Creativity Labs and Warwick Local shall not be liable for any issues, disputes, or damages arising from or related to:

• The adoption process or any agreements between adopters and shelters
• The health, behavior, or temperament of any adopted animal
• Adoption fees, refunds, or financial transactions
• Shelter policies, procedures, or adoption decisions
• Travel expenses to visit animals that are no longer available
• Disappointment from unsuccessful adoption applications
• Any harm, injury, or damage caused by an adopted animal

User Responsibility: By using our pet adoption listings, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You will verify all important information directly with the shelter or rescue organization
• You will confirm an animal's availability before traveling to meet them
• You understand that adoption decisions are made solely by the shelter or rescue organization
• You will comply with all adoption requirements, policies, and agreements set by the shelter
• You assume all risks associated with pet adoption and pet ownership

Data Feed and Technical Issues

Pet listings are typically provided through automated data feeds from participating shelters and rescue organizations. We are not liable for:

• Technical failures, interruptions, or delays in data transmission
• Errors in data formatting or display
• Loss of pet listing data due to technical issues
• Temporary unavailability of the pet listings feature

Note: These disclaimers are in addition to the general limitations of liability outlined elsewhere in these Terms of Use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability related to pet adoption listings shall not exceed $100.

Reporting Issues

If you notice inaccurate or outdated pet listing information, please contact the shelter or rescue organization directly. You may also notify us at contact@accesscreativitylabs.com so we can encourage the shelter to update their listings.
